Description

The Fall 1978 'It's The New Thing' b/w 'Various Times' 7" Step Forward

Here for auction is an original copy of The Fall's second single for Step Forward, bought new by Julian Cope from Liverpool's Probe Records. Kept thereafter in a thick polythene sleeve, the item is still very clean and fresh – minuscule ring wear on one side only, no bends or tears of any kind. Both sides have just been played through with nothing evil to report on the A-side, no clicks, jumps nor even crackle either. The B-side is similarly clean save for some minor surface noise and clicks at the very beginning, another minor one just before M. Bramah's epic solo. A lovely post-punk item indeed.
