The Fabulous Fats Navarro, Vol.2
With Wardell Gray, Milt Jackson, Tadd Dameron etc.
Article-no.: BLP 1532
Not the first, but still a pretty early edition mono pressing with blue & white deep groove labels.
Hybrid pressing with flat edge on side 1, beaded edge on side 2.
767 Lexington Ave. adress on both sides. RVG and P (ear) in dead wax on both sides.
Since back sleeve already has 43 West 61st street adress (first used in January 1960) and the INC. added to the Blue Note
Records name, my guess would be that this was pressed sometime in 1959 using an older stamper for the first, a newer one
for second side. Labels used were thus left-overs from the first pressing. One of Blue Note's many oddities.

Condition Cover: VG+. Thick front laminated sleeve without splits and light wear only.
Front is glossy with light rubbing, back has name stamp and some small pen-written notes next to the titles.
A bit of creasing along spine.
- Condition Vinyl: NM. A hardly ever played, flawlessly preserved copy!

- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

A note about my record-grading:
I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.
My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
