The Exploding Hearts LP Shattered / New & Sealed Original Pressing

Very rare sealed LP from 2007 on Green Noise Records / Dirtnap Records RG04 / ZZZ32. Black Vinyl.

This is the rare first pressing. In a story that most of the punk rock world knows all too well, on 07-20-2003 the world lost 3/4ths of the Exploding Hearts (Adam Cox, Jeremy Gage, and Matt Fiztergerald) in a tragic van wreck outside Eugene, Oregon. During it's short existence the band left behind a rather brief legacy: one classic LP/CD on Screaming Apple/Dirtnap (to date the best selling Dirtnap release yet), a couple of singles on Vinyl Warning and Pelado, a slated-to-be-released Single on Dirtnap, a slot on the Dirtnap Across the NW comp, and that's about it.

Fast forward 3 years. (during which time guitarist Terry Six has resurfaced in kickass Portland band The Nice Boys) In rememberance of one of our favorite bands of all time, Dirtnap released Shattered, a 16 track CD which will compile the bands singles, demos, alt takes from the Guitar Romantic sessions, and unreleased material. Meant as a tribute to the band and their music, the CD will come with a 20 page full color booklet filled with unseen photos from the personal archive of band photographer Chrystaei Branchaw, incredible, extensive, liner notes from Fred "The Barber" Landeen of Vinyl Warning Records fame, and will be enhanced with a 5 song video from their show at Bottom Of The Hill in San Francisco, CA 07/17/03. (their last official show.)

Track listing 1. You Left Me Shattered 2. We Don't Have To Worry Anymore 3. So Bored 4. Busy Signals 5. Making Teenage Faces 6. Your Shadow B 1. Still Crazy 2 . Modern Kicks 3. I'm A Pretender 4. Throwaway 5. Black And Blue 6. Thorns In Roses.
