Description

The Endtables first played on Bardstown Road in Louisville, Kentucky from 1977 to 1980, but most of the world was not yet ready for their psychedelic punk rock.  Due to a recent resurgence of interest in their music, this self-titled LP from 1979 was re-released by Drag City in 2010.

The Endtables now have a new record deal in the works and will be playing at the 25th Annual SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.  This reunion will not include the original drummer, Steven Jan Humphrey.  This auction is for the ORIGINAL 1979 45 rpm promo record in the extremely rare color sleeve.  Only 50 color sleeves were ever made as the band quickly decided they were too expensive and they switched to black and white.  The original song lyric sheet is also included.  This record was recorded at Reel to Reel Recording Studios in Louisville, Kentucky in September 1979.  Absolute mint, perfect condition.  If the winning bidder requests, we will have it handsigned by the original drummer, Steven Jan Humphrey.  (Note:  If the signature is requested, please allow an extra 7 to 10 days for shipping.)

How do I know all this you might ask?  I personally know Stevie (as he is called by his family and friends).  He is my uncle's brother and still lives in Louisville, Kentucky.  We also have the re-issued LP on auction.
