The Edwards Generation featuring Chuck Edwards - In San Francisco "The Street Thang." Tight Records – TLPS – 401. 1976. Classic funk rarity, much earlier sound than the year of release suggests, kickin' hammond and drums! A funk and soul lp with Chuck Edwards and his family who play guitars, drums, bass, piano, organ, cowbell, and vocals. Songs include; Smokin' tidbits, Starlite Starbrite, That's How Much I Love Her, I Got Something for You, The Street Thang, You're the One for Me, Are You Ready, That's When the Fun Begins and Gatta Make it Funky. Cover is VG+(+) with a couple of small corner bumps, a couple of small paper tears on left seam, and very light wear on cover. Record is really nice, VG++ with four very light sleeve marks that will not effect play. Rare and Recommended small press LP.
