Description
Just recently I bought a massive collection of 60's and 70's LPs...some are in surprisingly immaculate condition, and some are not, but the original owner (a well-respected Australian vinyl hoarder) was a fastidious collector of the styles he loved - 60's beat/punk/garage, British invasion well-knowns [Beatles/Hollies/Dave Clark 5/Gerry & The Pacemakers/Zombies/Troggs/Rolling Stones, etc..], 70's West Coast sounds, pop-psych and he'd obviously forraged far and wide since there's a flurry of unique South American, New Zealand,Taiwanese, South African, Japanese releases amongst them all.
Here then, is one of the LPs from his collection:
"VOLUME 3”… third LP…Australian…Released 3rd November 1966…original first press…mono…Parlophone…black and yellow labels…(PMCO-7537)…flipback cover…only mono catalogue number on cover…condition: [cover first, then record]: VG[+] / VG[+]…has mid-range marks: some light, some scratchy…plays very LOUD, but does skip on first track Side One a couple of times…has some staining on back cover (see pix)…13 tracks, all originals!!...awesome tough garage LP!!…
