Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1961 COMPACT 33 release of ELVIS PRESLEY SURRENDER / LONELY MAN released in the USA.

The record itself (37-7850) is ONLY in VERY GOOD- condition with quite a few visible marks/scratches and retains some of it's natural sheen.

I have played through both sides and they play through with surface noise/pops however there are NO SKIPS or JUMPS. (there is 1 main scratch on the Surrender side which can be felt and makes the surface noise with each rotation)

The centre labels are quite bright, however have rubbing and some damage on the Lonely Man side but have NO WRITING!!(see photos).

This is one of the tougher to find USA releases as it plays at 33.3 rpm and has a small centre hole(rather than the normal large centre jukebox hole)

This comes in a RARE RCA VICTOR NEW ORTHOPHONIC sleeve.

A MINT COPY OF THIS RARE RECORD WILL SET YOU BACK A COOL $1000 (£640) 

THIS WILL ONLY SERVE AS AN AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £640 RECORD (or £1280 record and picture sleeve) 

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $400+(£255 approx) .

I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £275.

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!

THIS IS BETTER TO HAVE IN YOUR COLLECTION IN THIS CONDITION THAN NOT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!
