Description
A truly incredible copy of this very rare UK mono version 1967 1st Press of The Doors - Strange Days on the orange Elektra label. The catalogue numbers are mismatched on the cover and label which is consistent with other copies of this super rare version; the label reads EKL-4014 and the cover EKS-74014 on the spine. The matrix number is A1!
The cover is in Near Mint condition and beggars belief.
The orginial inner sleeve is hard to find in itself let alone in this condition - there are no seam splits or tears. It's in great shape except for the usual creasing and some slight discolouration / dark spots.
The vinyl itself I would say is in Excellent condition and plays with beautiful characterful sound. Visibly, there are some whispy hairline scratches which can only be spotted at the most particular of angles under certain lighting and do not affect sound quality.
It would be very hard to ever find as good an original and complete copy as this!
