Description
The Cats - New Jazz NJLP 8217 Mono LP , No Deep Groove (Second press probably pressed a few months to a year after Original 1959 press. same label design, but non-deep groove version.)
Condition Record: (full playgrade) VG, tough to grade because there are no scratches, barely any marks, not many tics, and no loud pops, jumps or skips. plays very smooth throughout. VG because vinyl is visually grayed and there is a hiss throughout. This is most noticeable on track 2 which is a softer song. Music plays above the noise and fidelity is loud and strong throughout. Side B plays better (less hiss) than side A. Overall this makes a great play copy of a second press of this rare record.
Cover: VG-, Far from perfect, but the classic artwork is not too bad. Tape residue front/back, some scotch tape top left, large corner-rounds/loss. shelfwear, significant edgewear, some laminate peel and creasing, splits in center of edges, and splits from opening, still holds together. some paper loss back bottom. name on back in ballpoint, stamp on back. (please see pics)
Labels: some wear and spindle marks around center holes. (see pics)
RVG is stamped in deadwax both sides.
new poly sleeves will be included
