Description
Very, very rare original pressing of this truly classic album.
There are virtually no flaws to the sleeve or inner liner, both have only normal very minor wrinkles only visible under bright light and the lightest shelfwear. There are no seam splits on the outer or inner sleeve.
I have cleaned both sides with a wet cleaning vacuum system and play tested the entire album. The mastering is truly fantastic, they did a great job with this pressing. The vinyl has some small pops to be heard in the middle of track one on side A, and once again for a few rotations in the middle of track 2, side A. It easily plays without skipping in both instances on my Technics SL-1210MK2 with a Shure m97xe cartridge.
There is some very light, occasional crackling in quiet sections and in the silent areas between tracks (I'm picky about this and it's not bothersome to me) and a few very minor ticks at the end of the very last track on the B-side, in a very quiet piano solo, they are also not enough to ruin the enjoyment. Other than those small items it sounds amazing and retains a brand-new level of shine to the surface.
Record will ship in a record mailer with stiffeners and with the disc, inner sleeve, and outer sleeve separated in a clear protective record sleeve so there will be no damage to the seams during shipment.
