The most complete collection of the Byrds' pre-Columbia material ever assembled, a collection of 48 tracks recorded at World Pacific Studios circa 1964, prior to the release of their 1965 hit single, Mr. Tambourine Man. Now available for the first time on vinyl, this deluxe 3-LP box set not only includes all 40 tracks from the Preflyte Sessions, but also 8 tracks from a demo reel mixed by producer Jim Dickson as their Columbia audition reel, including unreleased takes of Mr. Tambourine Man and You Showed Me and unheard World Pacific tracks like She's the Kind of Girl, Everybody's Been Burned and I'm Just a Young Man. 140 gram HQ vinyl pressing includes a four page booklet with liner notes and photos.
