The Beatles - Abbey Road PPCS 7088. 2nd UK Export Pressing with One Box EMI Parlophone Label, Gold Parlophone Sticker and Original Black Inner Sleeve.
This is the Decca/False Decca press with the pressing ring on both discs.
This is most mysterious copy of Abbey Road and very few have ever come up for sale. It is an ultra rare One Box EMI Export press but with a Decca style pressing ring on both discs.
It is not known if this was pressed by Decca in the UK under contract or pressed in Caribbean with UK parts (and labels) for the West Indies. Those in the market for such a wonderful record will have their own opinion but for what it’s worth, the evidence that it is a Caribbean record is more compelling but what do I know - have a google for yourself!
This is a stunning, and very rare, export copy of a great record.

There are no stampers at 3 o’clock.
Media: VG+. (Play tested) Sits completely flat with no warping. Both sides have surface marks, none of which are feelable, but this sounds fantastic, albeit with some surface noise in the quietest parts but no skips or jumps. The One Box EMI labels are in great condition albeit with some spindle wear. Her Majesty is not listed on the label. Has the Decca/False Decca rings to both sides.
Sleeve: VG Nice clean sleeve with a few storage marks/wear and some age related discolouration. Has some very minor laminate creasing. The spine is fully readable with no splits but is storage flattened. The gold Parlophone Export Sticker is in great shape but with a couple of small dinks and the misaligned Apple is just poking through at the edge.
Inners sleeves: EX Original black inner sleeve is flat and has a small tear but no splits. The record has been housed in an anti-static inner.
