Gorgeous still SHRINK WRAPPED copy of the legendary Beatles "Yesterday & Today" // Butcher Cover. 2nd State Capitol Records Mono 2553. Ringo's black collar is visible on mid right front cover & butcher cover is visible on lower left front - see photos. This is simply the nicest copy I've ever seen - I've had 15 butchers over the years and never had one with a cover totally under shrinkwrap. The white trunk cover is very, very bright white and looks as new. There is mild age yellowing along the jacket opening on front and back. A name in pen is written on reverse - see photo. (PLEASE NOTE - the cover appears yellower in a few of the pictures, its true color is best seen in pictures 2 & 3 - very white.) The number 6 is visible on lower right rear, making this a Los Angeles printed sleeve, which if you so desire is one of the easier peels because of the type of glue used. Outside of a sealed copy, though, you may never find a copy as nice as this and 'To peel or not to peel, that is the question...' ! GUARANTEED authentic butcher cover underneath the trunk cover.
PLAY GRADE: NM Plays great ! Obviously well cared for - rarely played - only a very few hairlines visible.
VISUAL GRADE: NM shiny.
COVER: VG++ Fantastic !! Spine is straight and unbroken NO seam splits. Still in shrinkwrap, opened only at side. Corners are SHARP, shrink wrap is still tight, light age yellowing along opening. Pen name written on rear.
LABELS: NM no evidence of play or handling... original inner sleeve in VG condition.
