THE BEATLES & TONY SHERIDAN - 'MY BONNIE'/'THE SAINTS'
This German pressing of their debut appearance on disc dates from early 1962 on the orange Polydor label: 24 673
'My Bonnie' has its introduction sung in English and has the subtitle 'Twist' beneath the title on the label.
Matrices: 24673-4A & 24673-2B'Made in Germany' is machine stamped in each run-out.
Housed in its original 'Twist' Polydor picture sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are clean, bright & unmarked.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Each side is clean & glossy with just some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines visible beneath halogen light.
Audio: VERY GOOD
As always, some background crackle is audible on the quietly sung introduction to 'My Bonnie'. However, when the song gets going, this is not audible. The bass response on both sides of this 45 is incredible and worth the price of entry alone.
Cover: VERY GOOD -
A respectable example of this fragile cover with a small age spot on the front along with and general storagewear. It's only major faults are a small 1cm tear to the top-opening edge & a 3.5cm split to the lower seam.
