Description
The ultimate addition to any Beatles collection the rare Please Please Me gold First pressing in Stereo with Dick James music credits PCS 3042 .
It has hairlines and some scuffs across both the playing surfaces but no feelable scratches . The record labels are very clean and clear . ZMT tax code on side 2 & Matrix numbers YEX 94-1 and 95-1 are clearly visible ( see photos) . It has been graded very good plus by a top vinyl auction house.
The first pressing ( right aligned Angus McBean credit sleeve) although 60 years old has also been professionally graded as very good condition with storage edge wear, staining to the bottom left of the sleeve front and reverse , tearing to the rear cover flipbacks part of which is missing on the Left bottom corner on the reverse side ( see numerous photos I’ve provided of which form part of the description).
This is one of the most valuable of any Beatles first pressing and only the second I’ve ever been able to obtain. It has as I say been priced to sell and will only increase in price so a sound investment. I am open to offers near the asking price.
There is no writing or cellotape on the sleeve as in some other cases.
I have added a new polylined inner in addition to the original inner which is in very good plus condition and a new outer record sleeve .
