Description

ARTIST - THE BEATLES TITLE - SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND LABEL - CAPITOL  CATALOG NO - SEAX-11840
RECORD GRADING - EXCELLENT COVER GRADING - VG+
The cover has some age and shelf wear. Corner bumps and rubbing on the spine, but all intact. I have read where there are some copies that weren't pressed well, and other that sound very good. This is one of the good ones. It actually sounds very good.
The album starts off with a crisp rendition of Sgt. Pepper. On the second track the background vocals on Lucy in the Sky are sometimes relegated to the background, but John comes in loud in clear on the left speaker. McCartneys bass sounds great on this! The background vocals on Fixing A Hole come in loud and clear. And so on. It's hard to see any scuffs or scratches, but the record sounds excellent with only an occasional click or background crackling. A fine copy to own.
thanks for looking!

International bidders- I do not change values on customs labels, and I may not be able to track in all places. For items over $50.00 I ship priority only. If item goes for over $50.00 PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE!!
I can combine shipping! Many times it means I can ship up to 3 LP's U.S. for the same cost as one, and possibly more 45's. International bidders - Combined shipping will be only based on weight, so I will need to know how many items are bought before sending invoice. Thanks again!!
VJ'S VINYL GRADING SYSTEM:
Mint - never used, once a record is opened, the top you can get is mint minus. Mint Minus - A great record, one or two fine hairline scuffs, sounds flawless. A mint minus record can "play" mint. Covers are new looking, may have shrink. Excellent - Can have faint hairline scuffs that do no affect play. Can have very minor infrequent crackling. Minor bumps in the cover. VG+ - Scuffs can be more prevalent, with a little more surface noise. If it visually has more scuffs but plays great, I will note that. Still, a very fine and playable copy. Covers have minor age and shelf wear.  VG - Can have lots of hairline scuffs, and maybe one or two scratches. Surface noise more prevalent with some popping in spots. Covers have more extensive age and shelf wear. Minor splits. VG minus - More in the way of scratches and surface noise is NOT infrequent. Still, a viable copy. Covers may have splits.  G+ - only reserved for a very rare or popular record. Very noisy, maybe some skips, scratches are evident. Covers are trashed.  STILL SEALED - I will grade the vinyl as "still sealed." That means it's probably mint minus, but I do not know if there was any factory defects.  Hairline scuffs -  are light yet visible. You cannot feel them with the skin of your finger. (I cannot fathom feeling it with your fingernail as described in Goldmine...why would you do that?) Scratches you can feel. If I am on the fence between grades, I will go with the lower one.  I will not use VG++ etc., but will say that a record is a "strong" VG+. "Age wear" on a cover is either fading or yellowing. "Shelf wear" is ring wear, corner bumps, or fraying.
