Description
Decca continued to milk the Rolling Stones back catalog through the early 70's after the Stones had departed in 1970 to form their own label. The Rolling Stones continued to deride the Decca releases but as long as they met with chart success, Decca had every incentive to keep putting them out. This is the third of those releases and it focuses primarily on covers of Chuck Berry songs performed by the Stones (five of the twelve cuts are Berry originals). Original blue boxed Decca release. bright clean photos, artwork and graphics. Superb copy. Check out my other Rolling Stones items in this week's auctions, including some real rarities.
Please Note: I try to be conservative in my description as these tend to be 30 to 40+ year old LP’s. Those with covers not still in the original shrink wrap usually show some signs of wear. This wear can be scuffs, scratches, peels, rips, corners not squared, labels removed causing rips as well as some writing on the covers and labels. In most cases the vinyl is in very good condition; however, surface scratches and marks may exist. All records are played through to assure no skipping.. If you have specific questions about the cover, record or any inserts/sleeves, etc. PLEASE email first before bidding or purchasing. I will always respond to your request and will try to provide additional pictures or information to help answer your questions.
