Description
For sale is a copy of The Beatles sixth studio album, Revolver.
This is an original MONO UK 2nd Pressing produced in 1966 which features the sought after black and yellow Parlophone labels.
This copy has the rare misprints in which the song title Doctor Robert is incorrectly spelt Dr. Robert on the record label and the rear of the sleeve.

The matrix numbers identify this copy as a second pressing:
· Side 1: XEX 605-2 & 1 TL mother stampers
· Side 2: XEX 606-3 & 3 MT mother stampers
This copy comes with the original sleeve and the 1st label variation. There are several features that can be used to identify this:
· Front side laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback sleeve.
· ‘Doctor Robert’ written as ‘Dr. Robert’ on the rear of the sleeve and label.
· Black labels with yellow Parlophone logo and silver text.
· All songs written on a new line.
· Publishers credit printed before lead singer credit for every song.

I use the Goldmine standard as a reference for grading.
Vinyl: VERY GOOD
The vinyl surface retains the original gloss sheen.
The labels are clean and bright and have minimal spindle wear.
There are several surface marks to both sides a couple of which are more noticeable.
Despite this the audio is very enjoyable with only the odd pop here and there.
The vocals are crisp and the bass is nice and punchy.
There is only subtle dust crackle between tracks and no skips or jumps.
Sleeve: VERY GOOD
The sleeve is in great condition.
The front is very clean with only a couple of laminate ripples to the edges.
There is a subtle crease to the bottom left hand corner.
The rear is clean; the flip-backs are attached and undamaged.
The corners are strong, and the spine and edges are well defined.
There are no rips, tears or writing present anywhere on the sleeve.
Inner Sleeve: VERY GOOD +
The original ‘patents pending’ inner sleeve is included with the album.
It is very clean but does show subtle signs of discolouration.
There is no writing or creasing.
Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality inner sleeve which provides the best possible protection for the record.
Overall a really honest copy of a fantastic Beatles album. This would be a great addition to any collection.
The album is housed within a premium quality polythene outer sleeve.
The vinyl will be packaged separate to the sleeve.
The album will be sent within a padded vinyl record mailer.
