An authentic, beautiful 1966 UK original Mono pressing of Revolver on the classic black and yellow Parlophone label. Features the definitive, punchy 1960s true mono mix.
Catalog Number: PMC 7009 (Mono)
Matrix Numbers: XEX 605-2 (Side 1) & XEX 606-2 (Side 2) — Genuine 1966 1st Press Masters.
Label Variation: Original yellow block-letter Parlophone labels featuring "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." rim text and the centered "Sold in U.K." text.
Tracklist Detail: Side 2 features the correct early "DOCTOR ROBERT" spelling variation (Track 4).
Inclusions: Includes the rare, original 1966 "EMI Outstanding LPs" illustrated advertising inner sleeve in very good condition, alongside the original Garrod & Lofthouse front-laminated flipback outer cover.
Condition Report:
Vinyl Visuals: Retains a lovely, deep original gloss. Side 1 is incredibly clean; Side 2 has a couple of super light cosmetic hairline marks visible under bright light.
Play-Test: Fully play-tested. The couple of light cosmetic hairlines on side 2 do not affect playback whatsoever. It delivers a spectacular, loud, and crisp 1960s mono performance with great fidelity and no skips, jumps, or loud pops.
Labels: Excellent condition. Bold, clean text, striking contrast, and no ink writing or tears. Shows light, honest spindle traces around the center hole.
Sleeve: Original outer cover is in very good condition. Vibrant front lamination, sharp edges, and a solid, fully readable spine with no splits. Rear matte panel is highly preserved with only minor handling/toning.
