· This is the first American pressing, with credits to 'Lennon-McCartney' on labels. Second pressings used the writers' full names.
Pressed at Capitol's Scranton plant, as identified by the IAM triangle stamp in the run-outs.
SIDE 1 and 2: Very Good (Strong VG) The vinyl looks very good and plays very well overall. Under strong light, you can see some fine, shallow hairlines on both sides, but no heavy scratches that can be felt. There may be some very light background noise occasionally during playback, though the audio is mostly clean and bold.
The labels are mostly clean. Still a very respectable player’s copy.
I do not sell records in poor playing condition — if it doesn’t sound good to my ears, I will not waste my time listing it for sale.
CONDITION OF SLEEVE: Very Good (VG+) The cover presents beautifully overall with a clean, glossy appearance. There is some ring wear on the front, more noticeable on the back, along with corner bumps, general shelf wear, and a frayed section along the bottom of the spine. A few red ink marks are present on the back cover. The spine remains approximately 90% intact. Despite these flaws, the cover is still very respectable and displays attractively.
PLEASE NOTE: Every record we add to the archive or send to our customers extensively cleaned prior to doing so. We endeavor to remove as much dirt as possible from the cover before ultrasonically cleaning the record. Once both these steps are complete, we repackage the restored article in a brand new inner and outer sleeve.
