Description

Offered for sale is an original Austrian import of MISSISSIPPI GIRLS - (1928-1931).   Album is identified as Blues Documents BD-2018.  Sixteen recordings spanning the years 1928-31, which feature the complete recordings in chronological order of Rosie Mae Moore (4 songs), Mary Butler (4 songs), Mattie Delaney two songs, and Geechie Wiley & Elvie Thomas six songs, including; "Skinny Leg Blues", "Over To My House", and "Pick Poor Robin Clean".  Great accompaniment by Bo Carter, Charlie McCoy, Ishman Bracey, and Waler Vincson.  This album comes in NEW CONDITION.  There is a large seam split on the spine of the recordThe albums cover has been protected with a plastic cover, and the album has also been protected with a protective inner sleeve.  I've had these Austrian pressings for over 20 years and I still consider them to be virgins.   Winning bidders can combine orders and pay one S/H fee.
