Description
Following a move of house I need to reduce the size of my record collection and will be selling 100's of these in the coming weeks. Having had so much time at home has meant that I have been able to arrange the collection back into some semblance of order.
I am now offering classic records from 1960s onwards. All will be advertised together to help reduce postage per item for multiple buyers; I have a large number of other albums available; please look at the full list of items I am selling.
On offer here is an Australian sampler promo pressing of the album 'Rarities' by The Beatles on EMI Records PSLP.261, probably initially released in 1979. The vinyl is graded NM with no discernible blemishes to the playing surfaces. The original sleeve is in excellent order for age with only minor shelf wear. This is a fine example of a very rare first pressing (I have never seen this pressing before - it is that uncommon). This sale offers a superb opportunity for the serious collector / record historian, particularly given the very low start price. To avoid any confusion the label run-outs are SPSLP 261A and SPSLP 261B.
