Description

Beatles compilation ironically entitled "Rarities" given that it probably exists as one of the true rare factory made Lp's by The Beatles, seldom seen, most have only read about it, this was issued in 1978 by Capitol Records, #SPRO 8969, containing 17 tracks. The track listing is different than the retail Rarities album released in 1980. This is perhaps THE rarest true issue Beatles Lp ever released. It was Compiled in L.A. by Capitol, this was limited - only 3,000 copies were pressed, as it only came with US BC 13 Box sets. It also includes the first American release of the original version of "Across The Universe". Album is inside its original Capitol blue paper sleeve (also rare and unique as the songs aren't on it), and is in VG+ condition.
