A SUPERB EXAMPLE, DEEP RICH, GLOSSY SLEEVE.
ORIGINAL1965 UK Parlophone mono Vinyl LP for The Beatles ‘Rubber Soul’ album, first released in the UK on the 3rd December 1965, and was The Beatles sixth UK Album release.
This is one of many genuine Beatles Factory Sample Promotional LPs that will be for sale during the coming weeks. They all originally came from a Music Reviewers collection, and each Album will come with a letter confirming this.
The heavyweight 12” vinyl LP is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
Both record labels are in Excellent Plus condition, with just some light centre spindle lines, the printed text is unfaded, the official Factory Sample Sticker is on the side 1 record label.
Official side 1 matrix is XEX 579-4 and Side 2: XEX 580-4.
Side 1 stampers: 7 GOR and Side 2: 4 GAM.
There is an embossed KT Tax Code on the centre of the side two record label.
Both sides of the BRIGHT, GLOSSY vinyl disc are in superb Near Mint condition, beautiful bright clean vinyl surfaces, with nothing more than one or two light surface hairlines, there are no deep scratches or scuffs.
The album plays extremely well through all the tracks, with great mono sound quality, and with no clicks or skips.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL Lined ‘Use Emitex…’ Printed Inner Bag which is a RESPECTABLE example, with NO seam splits, and just some inevitable light creasing, but nothing serious.
And is housed in its original first Issue Front laminated Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd, London, three flip back, mono Sleeve.
The Original Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd, London Laminated Sleeve is in very nice Excellent Plus condition. What is noticeable about the front panel of the sleeve is that the laminate is very glossy and the colours rich, deep and vivid, there is only minimal record impressing to the front.
The reverse panel of the sleeve undamaged, and shows light handling signs, and some age toning to the gateedge. There are no splits to any of the edges.
A very nice and COMPLETE example of this Genuine Factory Sample 1965 Beatles UK mono LP.
