Description
REVOLVER PMC 7009 MONO
With withdrawn mix of ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ on side 2 with matrix XEX 606-1 and extra dot on label text ‘sold in. U.K.’ on side 1.
Side 1 XEX 605-2 (1 RD) Side 2: XEX 606-1 (3 GH)
LABELS: Excellent, clean, relatively few spindle markings. KT embossed on side 1. No stickers, writing. Bright and clear. Side 1 also has an extra dot after the word ‘in’! Dr. Robert is listed as the title on side 2. Later corrected to ‘Doctor Robert’.
VINYL: The heavyweight, excellent looking vinyl is very clean and relatively unmarked. A few minor surface marks. Playback is EXCELLENT, really clear, sonic, mono sound (lots of bass) with just a few minor clicks. No skips or sticks.
COVER: The Garrod & Lofthouse tri flipback cover with ‘mono’ in the top right hand corner is is in EXCELLENT condition. The flipbacks are all strong and intact with no writing or stickers. There is, to be expected, some fading and slight handling wear over the years but this is still a very strong example of a 1966 ‘Revolver’.
The original plain white inner bag with ‘Patents Applied For’ and ‘Made in Great Britain’ at the bottom is excellent, strong with NO SPLITS and no writing or other marks. Very rare to find a completely intact one from 1966 as they are so fragile.
