THE BEATLES, REVOLVER, 1966 1st ISSUE MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN, PARLOPHONE RECORD LABEL mono LP WITH SIDE 2 MATRIX, XEX 606-1.
Catalogue No. PMC 7009.
This is a first issue of the 1966 Iconic Beatles Album Release, Revolver with the side 2 matrix XEX 606-1 which features an alternate version of John Lennon's song Tomorrow Never Knows. The mix of this first issue has differences in the way that the tape loops are mixed during the instrumental break, and also a longer fade out Honky Tonk Piano.

1 matrix and Stampers, XEX 605-2 & 1 R D. Side 2, XEX 606-1 & 3 G H.
The LP plays with an extremely clear sound quality through all tracks with just a little light background on a couple of tracks, without click, pops or skips.
RECORD LABELS.
Both record labels are in nice Excellent condition with play signs around the centre of each label.
VINYL LP SURFACES.
Both vinyl surfaces are clean with side 1 in Very Good Plus condition with a few surface hairline scratches, and a 7/10 play quality. Side 2 is in better condition in Excellent Plus with just a couple of surface hairlines and plays with a 8/10 play quality.
The Garrod & Lofthouse picture sleeve is a superb example with the glossy front panel with just a hint of LP indentation. The black, back panel of the sleeve has three flip-backs with just a couple of finger marks on the black area, both edges and spine edge are perfect and the sleeve is a very nice overall Excellent Plus example.
