THE BEATLES - "Please Please Me" Vinyl Record, Mono, RARE 1st Uk Pressing 1963. Listed below are the factors of importance to ensure its authenticity as a 1st pressing.
ALBUM SLEEVE - ERNEST J DAY& CO LTD, bottom right on rear. ANGUS MCBEAN credit bottom right on front cover and in the correct position under text ‘S’ in songs. DICK JAMES MUSIC CO publishing credits. PMC 1202 top right on rear. Original songs credited to MCCARTNEY AND LENNON songs(later reversed). The SHADOWS & TONY BARROW mentioned in sleeve notes. Condition good(some discolouration, slight tear to right hand bottom corner). The word “MONO” is in large type on the front cover.
INNER SLEAVE- EMITEX advert on laminated sleeve. Condition good(some creasing and discolouration, no tears).
VINYL- Black and Gold PARLOPHONE label. PMC 1202. MATRIX markers - SIDE 1, XEX 421- 1 N. SIDE 2, XEX 422 -1 N. MOTHER STAMPERS - SIDE 1 Letter O at 2 o’clock. Number 1 at 9 o’clock. SIDE 2 Letters GC at 2 O’clock. Number 1 at 9 O’clock. Condition - Vinyl still has a shiny finish with light surface scratches.
THE ALBUM PLAYS WELL WITH NO SKIPS OR JUMPS. IT HAS NOT BEEN PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED.
