Tax Code                  ZMT  Stamped side 2.  The earliest Code and only used April -            November 1962.

Vinyl:    Condition :  Excellent.  The vinyl is still bright and shiny with only a few light surface marks. There is a mark on “Love Me Do” which clicks but does not jump when played. This is certainly not a heavily played example of this rare album.

Labels:  Condition : Excellent + with no writing or other flaws and virtually no spindle marks. The labels show the incorrect Dick James credits on “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Misery”, “Do You Want To Know A Secret”, and “There’s A Place”.  The First Issue labels  show  “33 1/3” only, without the words “Recording first published 1963”

Cover:  Condition :   Very Good +  -  True first issue cover with Angus McBean photo credit correctly aligned with last “S” in songs bottom right front.  The Last (S) of songs should be directly in line with the beginning of the P in the (P)hoto by Angus McBean credit. Later sleeves have the Angus McBean credit further to the left. (watch out for people upgrading and swapping the covers for later e j day sleeves.)
First Issue cover was printed by Earnest J. Day  and has the large Mono logo.  The sleeve has no rips or tears on the opening, no splits and no writing, no tape marks or staining, and the white on the rear is clean and bright. The corners have only some very minor bumping. The top flip-back has a small piece missing on the right hand side - see photo. The spine is firm and clearly legible.

Inner Sleeve:  Original Emitex  - Excellent condition.
