Description:

THE BEATLES
PLEASE PLEASE ME
1963 1st *STEREO* PRESSING
GOLD / BLACK PARLOPHONE LABELS
1G / 1R STAMPERS
VINYL VG/LABELS VG/SLEEVE VG

This is one of the most sought after Beatles records of all time. Trying to locate a mint example of this record is hard to say the least, with top examples fetching in the region of £15,000.

This one is not mint but it is an excellent example , with original sleeve and correct alignment of the Angus McBean credit.

I added this item to the collector's website 'your-collection'.  It's a Dotcom site where you can zoom in to the images below and see them at a much higher resolution.  The site hosts my collection and gives me searchable unique lists of my choosing so I can see exactly what I own and what I need.  I know what's in my collection and the value of all my items and my lists at any time - with a growth factor of my choosing.  I get free eBay templates, with links to my hosted images at 'your-collection', making my eBay listings more professional and easier to list.   There's eBay snipe as well.  Go take a look and see how much it has to offer the collector.

Condition Description:

I grade in accordance with the Record Collector guide.

Putting the record up to strong daylight you can see surface marks, which do not show in normal light or inside the home.  These are super thin marks but nothing deeper, grading the vinyl at VG minimum.

The original Emitex inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition,

The outer sleeve has creases and marks to the flipbacks and some flaking of laminate at the corners but it is a really nice clean example with a nice white back.  As the flipbacks are creased and marked, I would grade as a sold VG, possibly VG+.

Shipping policy

I'll ship to anywhere in which the item can be tracked door-to-door and fully insured.   I won't ship to Italy because there are so many horror stories of items going missing in transit and there being no tracking.  Lots of people have ended up losing out by having to refund for items.

I try to get items packed and shipped within three days of payment coming through and normally easily achieve that but I do work away quite a lot and of course it's not always possible if I'm not home until the weekend.

Return policy

I give a no-quibble money-back guarantee on all my items. If you don't like it then just send it back for a refund.  Send it back in the original condition, well-packed, insured and tracked within the time prescribed in the listing.

Payment policy

Payment is by Paypal or bank transfer.

On 12-Jan-20 at 19:29:59 GMT, seller added the following information:

I have just play tested and there are no skips, jumps or ticks.  There is crackle between tracks, which on the quieter tracks, such as Anna can be heard in the background.  But there is absolutely nothing greater than that.  These early Parlophone LPs were pretty much bomb proof and surface marks have little to no effect.  Even deeper marks, where the stylus has run across the vinyl have no effect as the play surface is so far down between the grooves.  The vinyl of course has got thinner and thinner over the years, so later pressings don't hold up to any punishment.
