The Beatles- 'PLEASE PLEASE ME'  UK STEREO BLACK AND GOLD!!! GREAT BARGAIN OPPORTUNITY!!***

***Starting on auction here is an EXTREMELY RARE BEATLES record, PERHAPS THE HOLY GRAIL OF ALL BEATLES UK PRESSINGS, an original STEREO pressing of their album from 1963,  PLEASE PLEASE ME ON THE BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE LABEL!!! This original stereo copy of the beatles debut album is probably one of the most famous rare records, finding any early stereo copy is hard enough, but finding one with the ULTRA RARE black and gold label is truely almost impossible, this one is being offered at a bargain price!!!*** 

***This copy is a very well used one and does bear many markings to both sides of the disc, some of which can be felt with the tip of a finger, however it did not jump on my turntable although obviously different systems can vary in sensitivity so I cannot promise that it will not jump on others!!!! The audio did display some backgroud noise when played along with some groovewear evident to the final two tracks on both sides, however tracks like 'I saw her standing there' and 'love me do' still sound punchy and undistorted. The overall grading to the record cannot be higher than FAIR unfortuatley, HOWEVER the main issue here is the black and gold labels which despite bearing some ringwear and some slight grubbyness are respectable with no names or stickers!!!

***The main sleeve is its correct laminated parlophone EJ DAY sleeve and is like the record looking very well used, and has been repared using selotape to the bottom flipback- however it still is inone piece despite being rather worn!! A grading of FAIR would apply to the sleeve also!!!!

Overall this is an extremely rare and HIGHLY collectable lp that is being offered here as a BARGAIN opportunity, it would be very difficult to find another black and gold copy without have to pay thousands of pounds, remember even copies graded at 'very good' can go for in excess of £3000 so if you are looking

for a much cheaper option of owning this massively rare and collectable record then this will be for you! Thanks for looking!!!

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
