The Beatles Definitive Box Set, Complete Collection:
Mobile Fidelity Soundlabs. Set #19715
If you are a Beatles' fan, you are aware of "The Beatles / The Collection".
Released in 1982, this collection features Original
Master Recordings of the Beatles 13 LP's, in their British versions.
This collection is housed in a beautiful display case, and also features
a 12" by 12" booklet of their album artwork, and a Geo-Disc for proper
cartridge alignment. In the early 80's, Abbey Road Studios, in concert
with Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab of Japan and JVC, set out to press a
limited edition of master recorded Beatle LP's. The original master
tapes from Abbey Road were half speed mastered by Mobile Fidelity Sound
Lab, and laquer discs were cut. These discs were metallic plated by JVC,
and a limited number of LP's - 25,000 of each - were pressed into virgin
vinyl. The 14 LP box set of half-speed mastered records was presented in
a handsome black box with gold foil printing. Each set is sequentially
numbered and includes a beautiful 38-page booklet containing the artwork
for each album.
These pressings sound considerably better than the standard LP or CD releases!
The LP's were pressed onto pure super vinyl, which has an extraordinarily quiet
playing surface, extreme durability and a lifespan many times exceeding conventional
pressings. The vinyl is so pure that its translucent when held up to the light.
In comparison to standard CD or LP releases, each pressing has far superior
dynamic range, top-end, better stereo separation and sounds much fresher and full of life!

Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club
Band, The Beatles (aka The White Album - 2 LP's), Yellow Submarine,
Abbey Road, Magical Mystery Tour and Let It Be.
These records have been played twice to make cassette recordings and are in excellent condition.
display Case is in nearly perfect condition, some slight surface
blemishes along the edges.
Album Cover Booklet: Very good condition 1 blemish on the rear white cover. The internal pages are in excellent condition.
