The Beatles - The Collection Box Set - Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs

The Beatles – The Collection Box Set was undoubtedly the crowning achievement of Mobile Fidelity, representing the best thing that the firm ever produced.

Released with much anticipation in early October 1982, The Collection was lauded by critics and fans worldwide and sold-out completely within the first year.

I purchased this box set new from the Federated Group in Santa Ana, CA, back in the early 80s. The records have never been played, and the box set has been stored carefully over the years in a smoke free environment.

The box set offered for sale is limited edition number #21,469 out of 25,000. There is a hand signed and numbered certificate of authenticity on the inside front cover of the booklet.

Each LP has a photo on the cover of the original master tape used for that album.
