This item is 'The Beatles ~ The Collection' - the amazing MFSL (Mobile Fidelity Sound Laboratory) Box-Set released in very limited numbers in September 1982.
No single group has influenced pop music as much as the Beatles and you have a chance to own these historic recordings on audiophile pressings of sonic purity
- This set is in absolute MINT condition
- Let me decribe the set for you. The contents are contained in a beautiful. gold writing embossed, dark blue box. It opens at one end with a bronze latch/hinge to reveal the 14 LPs, GEO-DISC and book. Each item is held in a special racking design to ensure they do not rub together.
- Each LP comes in a unique custom-designed sleeve and inside that is another stiffened gatefold sleeve and then the record is inside a special static dust-free inner sleeve.
- There is a terrific 38-page 12'' x 12'' full colour book (protective outer sleeve still intact) and in here is printed the limited edition no. - this set is # 312 . Very LOW
- The GEO-DISC: This is a precision turntable-cartidge alignment system which enables you to achieve the perfect play performance from these amazing discs.
- Original Master Recordings from Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs
Also included is a letter from Lee Herrington from Herrington Fine Audio and the bill of sale in 1982
