Description

Just unearthed from an East London house clearance where it's been since the 1960s ....the occupant was an obvious Beatle fan when he was young as apart from records we found cards, programmes, posters, scrap books and much Beatle memorabilia.

Most of this had value and has been sold to England and America but one of the scrapbooks is still here and can go with this rare box set as a sort of provenance after all they have always been together...the scrapbook is free.

Let it Be...vinyl LP...red apple logo...

The albums cover is near fine..apart from a small sticker on top right no7...all his records had these and it means this is the seventh LP he bought, I have not tried to remove it as its part of the history but should come off easy if required, the cover is bright, fresh and shiny, there are no scratches or indentations from writing etc, corners are sharp, there are no tears or splits, the spine is all there including the title, just the faintest trace of record ring? on the opening edge only...really nice condition.

The inner slip cover is plain white, patent no and made in England..no tears, no marks.

The Vinyl is straight and very clean with no damage around the hole, a few light surface scuffs side 2 and a light scratch first track side 1. It has been played and plays very well...probably better than very good plus and shows little use commensurate with the cover.

The rare folding poster has a little creasing at the top and a half inch tear on the top edge, it is the original.

The book is near fine..appears unopened and the covers, corners and spine near perfect, very bright and fresh, no creases, no NA,ES just the tiniest white Nick at spine bottom.

The original tray in which it sat is present but here it shows the bad design of these albums...it was very hard to pull this out of the box, it is almost in two parts as it has torn across one corner and the opposite one is also torn but not broke..however it is the original tray that came with this set.

The box that housed all this is original, being the outer cover it shows its age, it has some creases in the laminate around the edges, the corners are sharp and it has no tears, the inner bit with flaps also shows creasing on the flaps but no tears and rubbing wear to the edges..I have taken this out but it is tight and I am not going to try to put it back incase it tears, ..I Think this is because of the condition of the book box which probably expands when inside. This is probably why so many of these have disappeared as they have been pulled apart then chucked.

So there we are, you will see I am not an expert though I have sold a good few records, it's certainly very good plus plus or better though the poster and tray not so good but they are original and rare and an original one owner from new set which has sat in that cupboard for over fifty years.

No numbers on the outer record cover as correct..
