Description
Classic Beatles album from 1965, rare Norwegian press. Cover is G: some smudge, writing and general wear. A girl from Oslo has written her name and address on the back (although I doubt she still lives there). Anyway, the cover is the normal Garrod & Lofthouse used for the UK version, so it can be replaced by another sleeve from your collection. Vinyl looks VG, plays even better.
Norwegian pressings of this album came with three different labels: first black/gold (as known by the first UK editions of Please please me). The record for sale here is the second version, using the same design, only black/silver. The third (and almost impossible to find) version, was also black/silver, however with the same layout as the familiar UK black/yellow. For the record, none of the original Beatles album covers were printed in Norway. The albums were mainly issued with UK covers, except A hard day's night and Sgt Pepper, which are also found with Swedish and German covers, respectively.
