THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This superb UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial August 1965 release and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper codes: 3/AT & 3/AM
Vinyl weight: 151g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with an outline front stereo indicator.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex...' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

A pristine pair with just a single faint spindle trail around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces which are MINT & unmarked in strong daylight. Close and careful inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a handful of harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines on side 2, but there are no further blemishes anywhere. Both sides of this well preserved copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: Side 1: EXCELLENT Side 2: NEAR MINT
This cherished copy has clearly received very little play at all. Side 1 is downgraded slightly due to some light wear in one channel which judging by the absence of spindlewear may have been from manufacture. Side 2 is completely free from any form of audible wear and plays flawlessly. Both run-ins and all bands on both sides play silently and without any distractions of any description.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A pristine example of this easily blemished cover which has been carefully and correctly stored away from daylight in a non-smoking environment these past 45 years. The front panel is perfectly clean, glossy and most importantly, white. It The laminate is in perfect condition with no scratching, 'thumbnails' or even a single spine bend. All corners are perfectly clean & unworn as are both opening edges. The rear panel is perfectly clean & white with no handling marks, stains or other such blemishes. In fact, the only thing which prevents a 'MINT' grade is a tiny 1cm section of paper missing from the surface just above the lower flipback. All flipbacks themsleves are clean & undamaged and both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit and the spine is clean & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean and crisp with a few minor storage creases but no writing, tears or seam splits.
