THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This superb UK STEREO pressing of their 1965 album dates from c.1968 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3071

This pressing has an asterisk before 'I Need You' on the side 1 label which was positioned after that title on the 1965 1st issue

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text & 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rims

There is no purchase tax code is visible in the centre of either label

1st pressing matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1

Stamper codes: 3/OH & 3/PD

Vinyl weight: 140g

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover & plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve

Labels: NEAR MINT

A 1st-class set bearing only a single tiny spindle trail around label 1's centre hole and a small handful together with sliver of the silver centre hole marker on 2.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine factory-fresh playing surfaces which are unmarked & 'as new' in strong daylight with just a few harmless paper scuffs directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp consistent with the handful of times this disc has been removed from its inner. Both sides of this superb disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

This wonderful sounding copy has been played just a few times on qulaity equipment and plays without any trace of groove/playwear on any track or in either channel. My single careful play-check at volume detected just a trace of low-level vinyl background between tracks but not a single click, pop, tick or any other audible distractions. You won't find a better sounding copy.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

A respectable example of this easily blemished cover which retains a clean front panel with light storage rubbing and the indentation of a name above George. There is slight wear/bruising to the corners but both opening edges are sharp & unworn. The exposed rear panel is clean overall with a some smudging to the portraits but no writing or missing paper.

Both seam are smooth & unstressed and the spine is fully laminated & worded.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with some age-toning to the paper, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
