1968 UK 1st PRESSING **STEREO** LP

**SUPERB COPY**

This near mint 1968 stereo pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The * (asterix) comes before the title 'I Need You' on the side 1 label, on initial pressings it came after.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.

Housed in a front laminated, 'tri-flipback' Garrod & Lofthouse 'outline' stereo logo cover.
Complete with original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper numbers: 2/OL & 4/AH

Pristine bright and glossy surfaces displaying just a few barely visible sleeve removal hairlines directly under a halogen desk lamp.
This copy has been extremely carefully handled and no scuffs or scratches are visible.
Pressed on quality vinyl and 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.

Audio: EXCELLENT

Played just a few times the sound is rich, warm and clear with just a touch of low-level background audible between tracks.
However, there are no major audible faults on any track.

Cover: NEAR MINT

An outstanding and pristine example of this often spoiled cover.
The front panel retains its high-gloss, unscratched laminate bearing just one tiny 'thumbnail' and very light disc impression but no other visible wear.
The corners are in great shape; just a slight bruise to the upper left but otherwise clean and sharp and with unworn opening edges on both sides.
The rear panel is pristine, bright and white with no discolouration, marks or writing.
The 'flipbacks', seams and spine are all undamaged and in perfect shape.
Tough to find better.
