Description
The Beatles - Help Parlophone PMC 1255 Mono 1st press from 1965. Black and Yellow labels, with The Gramophone Co Ltd and sold in the UK on the label. XEX549 & 550 - 2 matrix in the run off. Outline Mono on front cover. Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve. The original 'Use Emitex' inner sleeve is present.
The record has only one very slight mark on the first side, towards the end of track 6 going on to track seven. It is a very slight surface mark, slightly more than a hairline, but having absolutely no effect on the sound. There is not the slightest trace of this mark in playback, not even the faintest of sounds. It really is just a slight, surface only mark. Apart from that there is nothing apart from the very lightest hairlines, and very few of those, which are signs of withdrawal from the sleeve. This is easily the best copy of this LP I have ever seen, and the sound is crisp and clear. Needless to say, when the vinyl is in this good a condition the sound quality is fantastic. Bright, clear, no repetetive ticks from scratches, patches of crackle or background noise. The record has not been professionally cleaned. It doesn't look like it needs it.
The labels have only a couple of spindle marks on each side. The labels are clean, sharp, showing no real signs of handling apart from that. They look like new.
The front laminated sleeve, which is mostly white apart from the figures themselves and the titles etc is beautifully clean and bright, no discolouration, marks or scuffs. There is only one small sign of a crease close to the spine, other than that the laminate is perfect. The back, unlaminated sleve has no scuffs or marks or discolouration. It really almost looks new, and there are no marks on the laminate flipbacks. A fantastic copy.
