Description

A classic performance by Louis Armstrong and his Hot Five recorded in Chicago on 26 February 1926. Visually the record is about VG- , with fairly heavy needle wear on side A (Hebbie), but somewhat less on the B side. Record is greying and well played with scrapes/scratches and little gloss left. A heavy needle drop/gouge on Side A.   Aurally it plays better with background crackle and light distortion and roughish starts which soon settle down. Music is loud and clear throughout both sides and no skips/jumps. A very rare record in reasonable played condition which is worth collecting.
