Description

This is the original first Mono pressing of the album "Revolver" by The Beatles on the Parlophone label catalogue number PMC 7009. This pressing is the most sought after having been issued and quickly withdrawn when John announced he was not pleased with the mix on "Tomorrow Never Knows". This resulted in not too many of this particular mix reaching the market and out of those that did, many suffered as a result of bad handling, storage etc. This particular copy has been very carefully looked after and remains in outstanding condition. Matrix numbers are: Side 1,  XEX-606-2, Sides 2,  XEX 606-1 Stampers:  Side 1,  9 O clock 4,  3 O clock MM,   Side 2,  9 O clock 1,  3 O clock RO
The vinyl retains a beautiful shine and neither side displays any scratches. The only small light blemish is on track 1, side 1 that has a small very light scuff but no more. This is light and does not interfere with play in any way and I mention it only for accuracy.
The record is housed in the original plain white, Patents Pending sleeve, that has no splits or other damage. The sleeve remains white and clean. The outer sleeve is in great shape with no creasing and very nice corners.
This is an outstanding example of a very collectable piece
