Description
All Beatle people will be familiar with the blue box set of LP's issued by EMI in 1978 both in the UK and USA. This set is far superior to those issues, coming as it does from Japan and as we all know, the Japanese know a thing or two about vinyl! This set is in MINT unplayed condition, the discs have NEVER seen a turntable. They are housed in their protective sleeves contained within stiff cardboard sleeves, not the usual flimsy items that we were given in the 70's and 80's. The box in which they are contained is in good condition displaying some wear, mainly to the edges, please see the photos. It bears the number 010116.
The LP's are as per the UK issues but there are are some variations to the sleeves, again see photos. Also, all records come with a lyric sleeve printed in both English and Japanese. Please note that the White Album does not contain the poster or four photographs common to the UK issue.
So here is what you get; 13 LP's lovingly pressed onto virgin vinyl - Please Please Me, With The Beatles, A Hard Day's Night, Beatles For Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Yellow Submarine, The White Album (2discs) Abbey Road, Let It Be and Rarities. All are stereo pressings on the Apple lable with the exception of 'Rarities' which is on the EMI Odeon label and contains a mixture of both Mono and Stereo tracks.
All in all a delightful and quite hard to come by set.

Payment: My preferred method of payment is by direct bank transfer, this saves on charges. Paypal is also acceptable. I can only accept payment in UK pounds Sterling.
Overseas buyers, please use Paypal only, I regret that I cannot accept cash or cheques in foreign currencies. I would appreciate receiving payment within seven working days from all buyers. If payment has not been received within 10 days the item will either be offered to the second highest bidder or relisted.
If sending your payment by post, please include a letter with your full name and address, a description of the goods and the eBay item number.
Postage: It is never my intention to make extra money out of postage but postage costs also include the price of jiffy bags, cardboard tubes etc.
All items are sent well packaged and I send all UK items via recorded delivery and this is included in my postage costs. The cost to send items via insured/signed for Airmail varies according to the value of the item. If you live overseas I will quote you for both standard airmail and insured Airmail. If any item is lost and has not been sent recorded delivery I cannot be held responsible!
