Description

This Beatles box set was released in 1978, and is entitled 'The Beatles Collection'. This represented the first 12 Beatles discs released in the UK, plus a special bonus disc entitled 'Rarities' that was only available as part of the set. The set comes in a blue leather-patterned box with facsimilie signatures of each the Beatles. Unfortunately, the box is not in very good shape, having some wear at the corners and on the bottom, as well as having some scratches on the front of the box as shown. The good news is that the discs inside are in near mint condition, with only the most trivial issues noted. The set is catalogued as BC-13, and contains the following discs: 1. Please Please Me - Parlophone - Special 100th Anniversary Edition. This is different from other box sets of this type that I have seen. 2. With the Beatles (Odeon) 3. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! - A Hard Days Night (Odeon/EMI) 4. Beatles for Sale (Odeon/EMI) 5. Help! (Parlophone/EMI) 6. Rubber Soul (Parlophone) 7. Revolver (Apple) 8. Yellow Submarine (Apple/EMI) 9. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Apple/EMI) 10. The White Album (Apple) 11. Abbey Road (Apple) 12. Let it Be (Apple/EMI) 13. Rarities (Parlophone/EMI). As I described earlier, the discs are in excellent condition, essentially as new, with all inner sleeves and inserts present, such as the photos in the White Album.
