This superb UK 1st mono pressing of their film soundtrack LP dates from initial July 1964 release.

On the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230


Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N

Stamper codes: 8/RHL & 8/ROP

Vinyl weight: 145g


Housed in a front laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.


CONDITION
Disc: NEAR MINT

This outstanding disc bears no spindle marks/wear around either centre hole indicating very little or no play at all. Both playing surfaces are factory-fresh bearing just a few barely visible wispy paper marks from inner-sleeve & a sparkling rainbow shine beneath halogen light. Audibly it is flawless & wonderful throughout and would not be out of place in any serious collection.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A highly respectable example which retains an unscratched high-gloss front laminate where the only traces of wear are a bend in the upper right corner, a few tiny edge wrinkles and a single 'thumbnail'. There is a small bump to the upper right corner but all others and the opening edges are undamaged. The rear panel is clean & white and free from any writing, rubbed or missing paper. Both seams are smooth and unstressed and the spine is clean and fully worded.
