Description
I am selling this LP on behalf of my parents, who are originally from Liverpool and brought this record with them when they emigrated here (Toronto) in the late 1960s. I am told the record most likely hasn't been played since the 1970s.
I don't own a record player so I haven't played the record myself. I have made no attempt to clean this record.
Original 1964 UK first pressing, Variation B of this mono LP (Variation B: The title “Songs from the film A Hard Day’s Night” doesn’t take up as much width across the label as other variations). Apparently Variation B is less common than Variation A.
Tax Code KT, as per pictures.
Mono PMC 1230. Matrix numbers XEX 481-3N and XEX 482-3N.
No inner sleeve.
I am not a vinyl aficionado so instead of trying to grade this LP, I will do my best to describe condition in my own words.
Cover, Front: Nice and glossy, corners good, some creases on front laminate, as per pics smaller crease lower left-hand corner, larger crease upper right-hand corner, several scratches lower right-hand corner, no tears that I can see.
Cover, Back: Two small tears upper left-hand corner, light staining as per pics, small creases on top, bottom and right edges, as per pics a larger crease in both upper left-hand corner, upper right-hand corner and lower right-hand corner. Other minor wear marks as per pictures.
Vinyl, Side 1: As per pictures, I see two (2) visible scratches as seen under normal light. Some minor smudges and dirt which I think will come off with cleaning.
Vinyl, Side 2: I see three or four faint scratches as seen under normal light, too faint for my camera to pick up.
Held very closely underneath a bright LED light, there are multiple small scratches visible on both sides that I cannot see with my naked eye.
Labels: Clean & bright. Side 1 label has slightly more wear than Side 2 label.

Again, I am not a vinyl guy but have done my best to be as thorough and descriptive as possible.
