Description
Beautiful copy of The Band's inaugural LP, Music From Big Pink, released in 1968. This copy, which is still in its original tight shrink, has the extremely rare (and mint) neon pink hype sticker (affixed directly to the shrink) with black print announcing the title of the album, the catalogue number (2955) and the song titles for each of Side 1 and Side 2. The record is on the 1st pressing black Capitol label with rainbow band and no "subsidiary" print. In addition, the painting by Bob Dylan on the front cover does NOT have the Bob Dylan copyright text [(c) B.D. 1968] on the bottom edge of the painting, indicating that this cover is the original (all later covers had this copyright text). A real gem of a cover corner-to-corner, no splits, no tears, perfect spine print. You will not be disappointed. U.S. buyers only.
