The BEATLES

"TICKET TO RIDE" b/w "YES IT IS"

7" single...pressed in Australia...on Parlophone (distributed by E.M.I. [Australia] Ltd. here...catalogue number: A-8153)...

I only know of THREE different label variations of this 45 issued here - and this is LABEL VARIATION #2 :

LABEL VARIATION #1: ...ALL text on both sides is in upright/NON-italic text, with no exceptions. In the songwriter credits on both sides, the two names are separated by 'space/hypen/space', like this: (Lennon - McCartney)

LABEL VARIATION #2: ...ALL text on both sides is in upright/NON-italic text, with no exceptions. In the songwriter credits on both sides, the two names are separated by a hyphen only, like this: (Lennon-McCartney)

LABEL VARIATION #3: ...this was issued on 19th July 1976, with a different label lay-out...with the catalogue number and matrix number moved to the left of the centre-hole on each side...and with much smaller text for the song title...plus the publishers' credit (Northern Songs, now) has been moved to sit next to the songwriters' credit. The word 'STEREO' has been added just above the catalogue number - the 'A' side is true stereo, the 'B' side is 'fake' stereo.

CONDITION:

VINYL: ( VG ) ...has lots of light marks...nothing remotely heavy...great loud pressing!...plays well, with only minor crackling...it's a great listen!...

LABELS: (Side One: EX / Side Two: EX- ) ...
