Description:  Russian 1992 pressing with different artwork, as always. Contains the rare INSERT explaining who is who on the Sgt.Pepper’s cover.

This is the 1st Russian pressing done by St. Petersburg plant. Later buth albums were released separately and pressed by the Riga plant, Latvia.

This pressing is unique also due to its artwork, just look at the front cover with attention and you'll see some strange persons among the crowd!

From a former St. Petersburg Melodiya record store manager's collection. Being a lady, the previous owner just kept the records but never listened to rock music albums so the vast majority of albums I'm currently listing are UNPLAYED. I do not grade them as Mint only because Russian records never came factory sealed. Even for unplayed LPs please allow minimal occasional natural low-level "static" during playback due to the quality of the 1990's Russian vinyl.

All the inner sleeves are guaranteed to be the original factory ones.

The cover would be Full Near Mint if not for a tiny tear at the opening, rear. Otherwise there are no flaws to report. Among the best you may find, I've seen a lot of these indeed!

Both records look unplayed. TOP copies. Play as perfectly as the Russian 1990's vinyl allows.

Record two (Sgt.Pepper) has a cosmetic factory fault - a small "matted" area near the run-off of side 1. Does not affect the sound. Usually such things are not worth mentioning but since I'm advertising this copy as "TOP" I think I should let you know.

Definitely the best copy you may find!

I should note that many collectors value Russian Beatles pressings for their sound. It's not a 60-ies sound with dominating middle frequencies but it is loud, open, clear and detailed.

Original inners are surely preserved. For further packing I use brand new re-sealable outer sleeves and custom German made LP mailers.

However, postal services of such countries as Canada and Great Britain (some others too) do not offer such option, sorry.
