Description
offered here is this classic Beatles lp REVOLVER, originally released in 1966, this particular variation is the 1976 transition cover with the SW prefix sticker to cover up the old prefix of ST 2576, due to the pricing code in which this title was reduce in price as the same for Rubber Soul was switched to the SW prefix as well (checkout pictures) The lp is a very first run Capitol Orange label in VG++ condition maybe better with NM labels which still retains ST 2576 prefix,and has the upper and lower case Stereo print. The cover grades at NM to M- in its original shrink, and a PEPPERS price sticker is adhered to the shrink, parts of the shrink is torn from John’s face down to George’s face, the SW sticker is adhered to the cover to coverup the ST on the spine and the SW is on both sides of the cover, in all the cover is gorgeous! A circle on the trail off area indicates it was pressed at the Jacksonville Illinois plant. So if you’re looking for this particular Beatles title with this Sticker or just becoming aware of it for the first time, check this one out!
