BEATLES UK, Revolver LP, shop sticker, original mono.

PMC 7009, original 1966 black and yellow Parlophone labels.

An early UK mono copy in original condition, featuring:

1. the rear of the sleeve has its original shop sticker,

2. on the record label on side two there is the spelling of ‘Doctor Robert’, but on the rear of the sleeve this track has the spelling of ‘ Dr Robert’ !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. This laminate is very glossy and relatively ‘scuff’ free. For its age the sleeve has four clean, sharp corners and the two opening edges of the sleeve are clean and sharp. The rear features the original tri-flipback design. The spine is in excellent+ condition and all the text is clear to read. There are NO tears, splits, stains, pen writing and NO other stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original black and white EMI period advertising sleeve. The sleeve has remained an excellent fresh white in colour, it is very clean and has been well preserved for its age. The two opening edges are excellent and very clean. There are NO splits, tears, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE RECORD: is in near excellent condition. It is made of the period 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The vinyl has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are:  XEX 605  2  and  XEX 606  2,

The mother / stampers are:   ‘6 1 0  G T D’  and  ‘4  G H R’,

THE AUDIO: side one plays excellent++, I did hear some brief light ‘ticks’ to the beginning and some light ‘ticks’ to the end of track three. Side two plays excellent, I did hear some brief light ‘ticks’ to the beginning of track five. Each side plays with relatively quiet grooves and plays with an excellent full, clean period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in excellent condition. The letters ‘K T’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
